"Newbridge Motorsport at the forefront of the new, affordable Porsche Boxster race series"

The Porscheracing Drivers Association is developing a race series for the Porsche Boxster S, with the aim that a full race series will commence in 2010. The race series will be run at BRSCC meetings at circuits all round the country with approximately 14 races to be held during the first year.

Technical regulations are available. The rules are designed to promote close racing between equally matched cars, while at the same time keeping budgets under control by limiting the amount of modifications permitted. It is planned that a kit of parts will be available from the organisers to convert a road going Boxster to the series specification.

A prototype for the series is in production and will be shown at BRSCC race meetings during 2009 both out on the track and on display for people to take a closer look at. Full championship races will not be held until 2010 but it is hoped that racing will commence in 2009 if enough cars are prepared in time.
