Richard is an International Licence holder. He has a wealth of experience in a variety of cars, including AC Cobras, MGBs, Porsches and the hugely powerful Lola prototype.
Competing in both International endurance races and the Classic Sports Car Championship, Richard has enjoyed considerable success.
Among his achievements, Richard can claim overall class victory in the Classic Sports Car Championship, where he drove the MGB to top honours against many more powerful cars.
Richard has come a long way from his Karting days during the early 70's to now compete in the Classic Le Mans 24hr, driving the Lola T290 that was previously run by Marcel Van Hool.
Originally from France, Guillaume Gruchet has been based in the UK since 1998 and has been part of the Newbridge Motorsport stable ever since.
Having raced in the Newbridge-built 987 Porsche Boxster in previous years, Gruchet drove to third in the 2014 Dunlop Endurance Championship with a GT3-spec Porsche 911, collecting several podium finishes along the way.
Together with Newbridge, Gruchet is looking to improve his driving technique, gain valuable track experience and develop the car throughout the 2015 season.
Away from the track, Gruchet enjoys a quiet family life and is fulfilled with looking after his two sons with great support from his wife.
Having raced behind the wheel of a Newbridge Motorsport-built Porsche Boxster 986 in the BRSCC Porsche Championship since 2012, Chris Valentine has enjoyed his first two years of racing and – as part of his long-term goal of competing in a 24-hour race - will make the switch to the Britcar Endurance Trophy Series this season.
Lining-up alongside teammate Guillaume Gruchet, Valentine will be looking to improve his driving technique this season before challenging for the title the following year.
With a career spanning over 40 years, Mike Wilds is a vastly experienced driver who has competed in various championships around the world, but most notably the Formula 1 World Championship for BRM and Ensign in the 1970s.
To mention a small handful of his achievements, he has won 12 British Championships in single-seaters and sportscars, won the Group C2 Team World Championship with Ecurie Ecosse in 1986, competed in 11 24-hour races, including the famous Le Mans 24 Hours seven times, and has driven in Britain’s premier motor racing series, the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).
At 68 years old, Mike still currently competes in the European Endurance ‘Britcar’ Championship, as well as providing tuition for manufacturers such as BMW, Lexus, FIAT, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche.
As well as racing, Mike is also an experienced helicopter pilot with more than 8,000 hours flight time under his belt.
Based in Zurich, Switzerland, Paul Moraviec realised a life-long amibition of becoming a race driver in 2012 when he completed his MSA ARDS instruction and test with the help and guidance from Newbridge Motorsport.
During 2012, Moraviec completed in the BRSCC Porsche Championship gaining experience in both sprint races and race craft in a Porsche Boxster, prepared and maintained by Newbridge Motorsport.
Looking to complete a life-long dream of competing in the famous Le Mans 24hrs, it was agreed by both Newbridge Motorsport and Moraviec that in order to focus on longer races, he was to race in the highly competitive Britcar Production Sportscar Series. With Mike Wilds providing personal tuition and coaching, Moraviec exceed expectations, producing great results in both day and night Britcar endurance races.
Moraviec will contest selected endurance events in 2014 to further his ambitions of competing in Le Man 24hrs.
